Dr. Cynthia Tainsh – Adult Neurologist

Dr. Cynthia Tainsh is an Adult Neurologist with a special interest in neuromuscular disease and the peripheral nervous system. She grew up in New England and graduated from Brown Medical School in 1983.

Dr Tainsh completed her Residency in Neurology at the Harvard-Longwood Area Neurology Training Program. Her next goal was a Clinical Fellowship and Board Certification in Electrodiagnostic Medicine from Harvard Medical School at Massachusetts General Hospital in 1988. She and her family then moved to Central Florida where she continues to practice today.

Dr. Tainsh has always enjoyed teaching as much as she does patient care. She believes that by applying the electrodiagnostic study as an extension of their neurological examination, physicians can provide a more rapid and accurate diagnosis for their patients. RMG’s extensive educational materials, seminars and training sessions make it possible for the physician to provide highly focused, well performed studies, which make a valuable contribution to patients’ differential diagnoses and treatment plans.
